內容簡介：
書中所說，八歲那年，昭廣從廣島來到佐賀鄉下的阿嬤家，迎接他的是一棟座落在河水芒草間，儼然是日本古老故事裏冒出來的，孤絕又破爛的小茅屋，以及一位樂觀開朗的阿嬤、在物質匱乏的歲月裡豐富了昭廣的心靈，讓家裡也隨時洋溢著笑聲與溫暖的超級阿嬤，書中的阿嬤總是運用各種智慧來改善生活，就像：在腰繫上磁鐵來撿鐵釘鐵片、那條免費河流超市，每天都會有蔬菜或水果或鞋子…阿嬤讓人知道省錢與賺錢不是靠腦子空想，而是需要智慧，有了智慧你就知道，如何賺錢、如何省錢了，任何事情只要用心，都可以讓她成為快樂的來源，現今社會大家衣食不缺，吃的好穿的也好，錢賺不多，但是慾望卻很大，要知道「一分耕耘，一分收穫」，成功靠的不是僥倖，而是持之以恆的努力。

感想
回想起小時候，在那物質短缺的農業社會中，人與人之間的情感交流卻愈緊密，人人一樣窮，也就無從計較，反而安貧樂道，人們普遍樂天知命，從不抱怨生活中的不如意，雖不富裕但殷實的生活，支撐了我們的怡然自傲，就如書中所說『貧窮，卻窮得很快樂！』吳念真的阿嬤常說：『再艱苦，也要笑給天看。』但《佐賀的超級阿嬤》卻是『再艱苦，也要讓老天笑出聲音來。』功利的社會，富饒的環境中，衣食不缺，大家都忘了用『心』過生活，樂觀面對困境，常常抱怨生活中的不美滿、不順利，讓自己總是處在不快樂的心態中，明朗豁達的人生觀，是當今競爭激烈的社會中，十分難能可貴的，只要有樂觀的心態，就能克服一切心魔，人生幾十年，快樂的生活，不正是我們所渴求的嗎？幸福不是金錢左右的，而是取決於人的心態。

《佐賀的超級阿嬤》系列，讓日本過氣搞笑藝人島田洋七（本名德永昭廣，一九五○年二月五日生於廣島），一九四九年美軍於廣島投下原子彈，在艱苦的戰後，母親無力扶養，因而開始了昭廣與神奇外婆，祖孫相依為命的八年溫馨時光。昭廣成年後拜入日本相聲（漫才）大師島田洋之助門下，改名為「島田洋七」，二○○一年，島田洋七將童年時在佐賀與外婆相依為命的故事寫成書，迄今日文原版熱銷，還改編成電影，台灣版也是中小學生優良課外讀物。
